One Die Two Cards!

Hello everyone!  I hope all you ya’s are doing well! Today I would like to share two cards using one die.  Love when this happens!

I made a card using MFT (My Favourite Things) Celebrate Speech Die.  It was real simple to make.  I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks (Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans and Black Soot) on Bristol smooth card stock. Die cut the speech bubble and made a shaker card with the die cut.  The bits left over is how I made the second card.  Very easy with a huge impact!

These cards are great masculine birthday cards to give out,  Change up to pinks and reds, and they could be used for more feminine birthdays.  Quick and easy.

Thanks again for stopping by.  I appreciate the time you have spent here and please keep on crafting!

Rooted in Nature Stamp and Die set from Stampin’ Up.

Hello there. It has been awhile since I’ve posted anything on my blog. I have been active on Instagram and Facebook. But life at times get a bit hectic. Any how I have a very pretty card I would like to share with you all.

This card is created for a challenge for a group that I am in called Maple Leaf Stampers. It’s a fun group and the Demo (Elizabeth) of this group is fantastic.

Elizabeth sent each of us a lovely package of goodies to create a card for this challenge. For this card I’ve used the Rooted in Nature. I’m pretty happy how it turned out.

Well I hope you all enjoyed this card and appreciate you all stopping by.

Thank you and keep on crafting.

Two Page Layout using Paper Pumpkin May 2017 kit

Good morning everyone,

I have been in a kick of creating scrapbook pages lately and here is my next addition.  I used what ever I had left over from the Stampin’Up May 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit and what ever papers and embellishments I had in my stash.  I received the inspiration for this layout from Pinterest.  IMG_3994

Now I know I have two of the same photos here, but I figured One page is for my boy and one page is for my girl.  We went to Krispy Kreme Canada one day and of course we indulged in the donuts!  As you can see in my kids faces.  LOL.

I really like how this tuned out and using items I already had on had is such an awesome plus!  I love challenging myself to use what I have instead of purchasing new items.  Do you guys do the same?  Shop your stash and be surprised what you will find!  🙂

Thank you so much for stopping by and remember to keep on crafting!

Playing around with paper

Good morning everyone,

Today I would like to share with you a couple of Birthday cards that I have created following a sketch for a design challenge.  I had this paper pack on my desk for awhile.  It is a retired product from Stampin Up.  I used my paper trimmer and circle punches.  I also rounded the corners.  These cards were very quick to create and a lot of fun.

These papers are so much fun and different.  Very quick cards just using a few supplies and tools that I had o hand.  And to this a quick post.  LOL!

Thank you so much for stopping by and keep on crafting!

Fathers Day Cards With Stampin’ Up

Good Morning Everyone,

Fathers day is looming around the corner and so is the need to make some cards.  I went to Pinterest to get some inspiration and these are the two cards that  I have come up with.

For these two cards I have used Stampin’ Up Truly Tailored Stamp set (Retired) and the tailored tags punch.  I punched a bunch of patterned paper and created the back ground.  Real quick and easy.  Then I have stamped the sentiment on off white card stack made a quick frame for the sentiment using the stamps from the set on Kraft card stock.  adhered it to the front of the card using Foam adhesive and added button and twine.

These cards were so quick to put together and the punch was so fun to use!

Thanks again for stopping by and don’t forget to keep on Crafting!
